Hugs

Just over a year ago this little one was born. Her life had been lived in lockdown. Adults are things to be avoided unless they are in her bubble. She already understands "don't touch"
A few days ago, when an adult stopped to speak to her, she cried.
This is not a new normal. It is neither new nor normal.
We need to begin to create new ways of being together on the other side of now, one in which A has a better future that includes hugs.
