12 Months of Lockdown
Lockdown 3 - Day 78
12 months ago today, the UK went into lockdown for the first time and little did we know how this was going to pan out, I expected it to last 3 months! Who knows what the next 12 months will bring, but I feel positive with the vaccine rollout that things will improve.
This morning I decided to set off for work early and stopped off to take 12 photos of the locks on the beach huts to make this collage to signify the 12 months of lockdown.
Late this afternoon I received a message from a lady who was interested in the Ikea day bed that I advertised for sale last night, she offered a slightly lower price, but I said I'd accept it and she wanted to have it collected tonight. I phoned Alan on my way home to ask him to start dismantling it, and when I got home I helped him carry it downstairs. We'd just finished when she arrived with the cash, but she was unable to fit it in her car so had arranged for a man with a van to come a little later to collect it. We moved it into the garage and just had time to have dinner before he turned up.
Then a short while later another guy turned up to buy the wrought iron log basket I'd advertised, so tonight has gone by in rather a whirl and it's now after midnight!
