Coffee Table Orbit

We went to Bath today and sat in the sunshine having lunch.

I was intrigued by the play of light across the metallic textures and patterns of the table top and my pencil, and the scene reminded me of the old Flash Gordon space ships.

The scratches in the table top added a sense of a rushing, circular, energy.

A ship forever falling, yet always remaining.
