Long walk back

I took the car to the mechanic to fix the recent exhaust pipe problem. Walking back, I discovered I was overdressed for the occasion. Just the same. it was good exercise and an opportunity to commune with nature. There weren't many cars about. There were several skeins of geese flying over at altitude and I disturbed a fox and its cub that observed me from its not very well concealed position. When eventually it took off I saw the larger parent who had hidden more successfully. Shame I didn't have a suitable lens.
