THE HEART OF THE MATTER
Heard from The Nutwood Medical Centre that G now has an NHS number and to contact a number to get his covid vaccination as he will need to have it in the wider community as he is in Group 9. Well I tried. Very helpful young man, who went and double checked for me but for some reason it won't allow him to book G in. He suggested contacting the surgery again as they obviously need to instigate something - perhaps an official letter, although he did have one from Scotland!! Phew don't you just love bureauracy!!!! Still at least in this instance I have, so far, been able to contact people who are polite and helpful.
Then check Mum's Pharmacy still had her on their books, and they have. Then replied to NHS England asking them to get the Practice Manager of Morecambe Bay Group to contact me to follow it through. CQC have said they will investigate - we will wait and see on that matter. Heard nothing from her MP, David Morris, total waste there. To be fair I'm used to dealing with Tim Farron, who is an excellent constituency MP.
Then in need of a walk. On my breenge round the block I saw this lovely viburnum (I think that's what this is) and just loved the delicate pink hues and the fact that it forms a heart shape, so that's today's blip.
Bakery order put in for Friday delivery. Now settling down with a lovely cup of coffee, made for us by G and relaxing, before I delve into sorting out photos this afternoon. Much more enjoyable than bureaucracy.
Mum has had her second vaccination - yeah. No problems at all, even better than last time she said, she didn't even know he'd done it. No tiredness or aches this morning either.
Do take care, continue face masking and hand sanitising, best to be safe. Looking forward to seeing all your blips. Thank you so much for your continuing to visit, I love it. Blip is a wonderful place and so full of lovely people. See you all tomorrow.
