S-T-R-E-T-C-H!

In the absence of being able to see my physio, I’m taking matters into my own hands (or leg in this case!) and am doing my stretching exercises every 30 minutes.

My theory is, by doing them little but often, I can start to relax the muscles and tendons in the ankle joint and be able to flex my foot fully again.

This is one of the stretches the physio recommended for me previously, but I wasn’t able to do it due to the ring on the frame. Now that’s gone, I’ve a bit more freedom and the goal is to get my knee to touch the wall, without lifting my heel.

I’m still a way off that, but with a bit of luck (and a lot of determination!) I will get there ;-)
