Wild Wednesday......

.........and the hungry heron, which flew overhead this morning while I was digging up and sharing some of the perennial plants with friend L. What a treat to see his majestic wing span just above our heads.....he clocked my pond, I wonder if he will be back?
It's been an absolutely beautiful day of warm sunshine, and I spent virtually all afternoon in the garden reading The Wide Sargasso Sea, the story of the lunatic wife, Bertha from Jane Eyre. I'm afraid I did not enjoy the writing style at all....it will be  interesting to hear what other members of the reading group think of it in a couple of weeks time.
I am changing broadband suppliers tomorrow, so if I am not about....you will know why!!
