New life

Been seeing so many wonderful blossoming trees around Southside, so it's quite beautiful to see a wee sapling in bloom. My walk around Queens Park is filled with beautiful flowers, which makes it all the more enjoyable.

Had my second dose of the vaccine yesterday which is amazing to think about. On the 23rd of March 2020, the UK went into lockdown, then exactly one year later I become fully vaccinated. Feeling a bit rubbish today - very tired with a sore arm and no appetite - but it'll have passed by tomorrow. Mostly just so happy to be protected against Covid and hopefully give my clients a bit more safety as well.

Observing the minute's silence in the middle of Sainsbury's was very moving - it's quite overwhelming to think of how far we've come, but also how much we've lost along the way. Hopefully this next year of Covid brings more progress.
