'Record Hot Days'

Call for some water, sand and a trampoline.

The kids decided that it would be fun to jump on the tramp with some sand from their sandpit, that got boring after a few minutes and water needed to be added for extra fun. Made for some great images too.

I've just heard on the news that we've had a record breaking 9 days in a row of 30 degree + days and we're in for at least the next seven days of the same stuff.

At least we can look forward to a weekend of camping down along the Great Ocean Road this long weekend. Temps should be at least 5 or so degrees cooler along the coast will should be ideal for it.

An interesting day in the office today. We are currently working on a new international school over in China, just outside Beijing for our Melbourne Based School as our client. All of the drawings we have received from the Architects are in Chinese of course, so today we have hired an electrical engineer consultant who is fluent in reading and speaking the language and interpreting for us. I've asked her to type out a list of the common terms used on the documents and their English translations. Tomorrow will be fun where I have to mark up their drawings cutting and pasting the Chinese characters she's typed out for me in a spreadsheet and putting together a set of drawings in Chinese.
