Appropriate Vocabulary

The only thing of significance today was learning a new word - in English, even though Monday is Turkish lesson day. A friend whose turn it was to be on duty in the library tonight was bored and reduced to reading the information in the library calendar, after which she then emailed me with the information that I am an ailurophile Well, ain't that the truth!

Out all day and out all evening too (dinner and conversation at neighbour-friend's flat) I walked in through the door rather late to be stared at in overwhelming feline disapproval during which she managed to communicate a dictionary of nouns and adjectives to express how she felt about the lateness of the hour. I am admonished.
