A day of sad news within the company as we announced a lot more job losses over the next few months, lots of them in places I was involved in establishing in the past. Hopefully this is the end of it but Retail isn't a great sector to be in at the moment so who knows

In other news we might finally have a breakthrough in getting some help for my MiL and the council have finally assigned her a social worker. They don't know when they'll do her care assessment but she's on the list now. Obviously she's up in arms about people 'sticking their noses in' but that's tough.
