Very Sad Green Onion Symmetry

The planter plan is for spring flowers. 
Long overdue, the flowers will replace these debilitated symmetrical green onions in the morning sun. Their frozen-in-time-growth is worthy of a botanist study. The physiological non-process of photosynthesis here will soon be moot.
