Magnolia

There are some wonderful magnolia in bloom at the moment. This one, seen today in St Porchaire is like ours.
We popped over to see a friend who is having a birthday tomorrow with a card and a bottle, and some eggs as their hens have recently been savaged by a dog who got into their garden, and returned with a cauliflower and a Savoy cabbage from their garden!
Then Mr F carried on with his compost bin structure, and I started sanding down the shutter over our kitchen door. I don’t think this job has been done for over 25 years now, so should I take it back to the bare wood and start again, or slap a bit of varnish on and move on?
