BEST DAY EVER

Today was the kind of day that started hurried & harried; but, unexpectedly got better & better.

I needed to get my car serviced in another town. My friend offered to pick me up at the dealer, then have lunch nearby & go to a book store, while the car was in the shop.
Going to a book store is a favorite activity for us both. We added some Easter shopping, too. It was such a fun way to wait for my car!

Later in the afternoon, when my car was finished, I took her for her 1st PFIZER vaccine. We considered having a shot & a beer to celebrate, but decided a sweet treat suited us better. We saw this Marilyn Monroe statue at the restaurant, which was fun, too.

It turned out to be the best day, ever. I spent it with a great friend & each moment was
special.
