One of the girls in our social walking group has decided that, as we can’t travel internationally, we should eat our way around the world .... in Auckland.  Today was our first  “trip”.  We walked into Central Auckland and had brunch at The Federal Delicatessen, which is Al Brown’s (chef) take on an old-school NYC Jewish delicatessen.  I have to say, it was very good, and hopefully we walked it off on the way home.  The main photo is of an assemblage of eclectic pictures in the restaurant, and the extra is of a collection of perfumes and cosmetics in the Ladies’ toilet. I’m told the Men’s toilet was equally as interesting.
