The Marriage of Figaro for wind octet

Today I went to an interesting take on Mozart's opera. In an hour long concert, an actor playing essentially the part of bride to be Susanna, also went into the voices and demeanours of the other characters. Members of the Australian National Academy of Music provided the music.

A marriage starts with a wedding and a wedding is usually a party. That's as close as I could get to the party theme for today's special abstract Thursday.
