What a thrill! Was fortunate enough to see this fabulous pair of great crested grebes indulging in a little display on Killingworth Lake, this morning. It did not last very long, and there was no exchanging of pond weed, or anything like that. Still fascinating to behold and I felt privileged to have witnessed it.
