River Roch
Until about 6 years ago, the River Roch in Rochdale Town Centre was culverted for several hundred yards under what was claimed to be the widest bridge in the world. In 2015 work began to reopen two short stretches of the river, exposing the structure of a medieval bridge.
Since that time, I have been trying to get a decent photograph of the results of that work. Today's are the best I have managed, so far.
