Sleepy Lagoon

Marian came with me on a walk down to the river and along to the little tree at Peewit Island. She suggested the composition looking along the burnt out wreck which looks like what might be left after a Viking funeral. 

It was a lovely day after some rain but there was a brisk breeze along the river. On the walk home I noticed the little lagoon across the field was looking good with some new foliage on the willow. It's a lovely place and I'd love to go down there but it's on farmland and marked as private on the gate.

There's an intrusive caravan site just beyond the pond but I found it quite easy to remove and it's improved the look a lot. A bit of a cheat, I admit.
