Chimney pots

The rows of red brick houses with their chimney pots was a striking sight when I was a child visiting England for the first time. Where I grew up in Scotland red brick houses were very rare, most being stone or sandstone, pebbledashed or rendered. However, now living in the north east of England these rows of houses are an every day sight and today driving through Prudhoe, this wee row caught my eye as the sun gave the red brick some extra warmth. I tried converting the shot to mono but felt it lost something of the character. Hope the sun is shining with you today.
