Prima dose di Moderna

Today I received the first dose of Moderna at Besta Hospital, which independently activated the vaccination campaign for its most vulnerable patients.
A military-style organization, completely in contrast with the regional organization: I had the appointment at 18.25 and they called me exactly at 18.25, then presentation of the questionnaires and subsequent vaccine, finally they told me to wait until 18.50 and they allowed me to go out exactly at 18.50.

The only flaw is that in this minute-by-minute organization they don't have time to get lost in excessive explanations. At the end of the time, while returning to the car, I began to feel a persistent tingling in my face, gradually widening. Fortunately I had heard from some American medical students who had been vaccinated with Moderna (not widely used in Italy) that they had also experienced this tingling, so I just waited outside the hospital for a while to see that it didn't get worse. All manageable, so I went home.

Next appointment on April 22nd at the same time, since 28 days have to pass for Moderna. We'll see if the classic flu-like symptoms and arm pain show up tomorrow.

Oggi ho ricevuto la prima dose di Moderna all'Ospedale Besta, il quale ha in maniera indipendente attivato la campagna vaccinale per i suoi assistiti più vulenerabili. 
Una organizzazione in stile militare, del tutto in contrasto con l'organizzazione regionale: avevo l'appuntamento alle 18.25 e mi hanno chiamato alla 18.25 in punto, poi presentazione dei questionari e successivo vaccino, infine mi hanno detto di aspettare fino alle 18.50 e mi hanno permesso di uscire esattamente alle 18.50.

L'unica pecca è che in questa organizzazione minuto-per-minuto non hanno tempo per perdersi in eccessive spiegazioni. Allo scadere del tempo, tornando all'auto, ho incominciato a sentire formicolio persistente in volto, che si andava via via allargando. Fortunatamente avevo sentito da alcuni studenti di medicina americani che erano stati vaccinati con Moderna (non così tanto utilizzato invece in Italia) che avevano sperimentato anche loro questo formicolio, quindi sono rimasta solo ad aspettare un poco fuori dall'ospedale per vedere che non peggiorasse. Tutto gestibile, quindi sono tornata a casa.

Prossimo appuntamento il 22 Aprile alla stessa ora, dato che per Moderna devono passare 28 giorni. Vedremo se domani si presenteranno i classici sintomi simil-influenzali e il dolore al braccio.
