Chit

On the 6th March we started a family chit growing challenge.  In this picture you can see the chit planted on the left it was then totally covered and today I saw that it had appeared above the soil!!  It has until July to produce a weight of potatoes.  We will each measure the weight and the person with the most potatoes will win.. (perhaps a Mr potato head is a good prize... still thinking!)
I didn't take any pictures today but had a few joys.  One was seeing the little cherry out of my bedroom window when I got up. Another was watching the blue tit still happily nest building in our camera box. Bookclub catch up.. with other peoples conversation to fill an hour of the evening. The sun shone
