Some of my Mom's things arrived today. Among them was this painting. I have always coveted this  piece and used to think it was funny that it is an oil on board. Sounds like someone brought oil onto a boat. 

It's like being in a time machine getting these things that resided in the homes I lived in as a child. This is by an artist my Mom and I visited and had tea with one afternoon when we lived in Massachusetts.
