Oops!

My friend Jan, 93 years old.

I blipped her recently in hospital when she was having a hip replacement , which she’d waited for months for.
She’s been home 6 weeks and was doing so well.

Two days ago she had a random fall at home and injured her other hip!!
Rushed to hospital in excruciating pain, operated on and metal plates put in.
She is in the new part of Christchurch hospital which is really nice, which she is enjoying, but will be transferred to Burwood Hospital for a few weeks of rehabilitation again!
It is such a shame for her, but she’s taking it well.
