En route

Another day of driving and frequent stops as we wended our way northwards to Hanmer Springs. This will be our base for the next two nights. On the way we crossed two of Canterbury's major rivers. The main shows a Hamilton Jet boat passing under the Waimakariri Gorge bridge. Extra is the Waiau Uwha river showing the Ferry bridge which you can do a bungy jump off if you so desire.
