Palmed Off
We had a really fun day. I love the end of term when the pressure is off and you can let the children play and have fun.
We started off with our whole school Easter Service via Zoom. My class had to tell the Palm Sunday part of the story. We made Palm leaves and sang ‘The Donkey Song’. The children did really well and managed not to take anyone’s eyes out with their Palm leaves.
We did a bit of maths and some reading but basically played for the rest of the day. Our LSA set up a sweetie treasure hunt and as soon as we’d started the heavens opened so we all got soaked. The children loved it though.
Back at home, poppy has been accepted to Hills Road Sixth Form College which is amazing news. We are so pleased and proud and excited for her. Her school have also announced that Prom will go ahead so it’s full steam ahead with dress/ car/party planning. Exciting times!
