Muddy Beaks!

This pair of oyster catchers have taken up residence on the shore below the house. They fly a couple of yards further along when you walk past them, then fly back again, so aren't really too bothered. They seem to be getting used to Ollie and I, and I'm hoping they decide to stay!

This morning it was dry and there was no sign of rain so I put a coat of gloss paint on the chair. It said on the tin to apply liberally, which I took a bit too literally, so instead of taking two - four hours to dry, it is still a bit tacky six hours later! It seems to have a few little black flies stuck on it too . . .
