Today's the day ....................... to explore

With temperatures soaring into the teens, this was the perfect day to head up into the National Park and explore a bit of the beautiful welsh countryside around Tal-y-llyn Lake. This is the view looking northwards to Mynydd Pentre and Cadair Idris.

We were following in the footsteps of Llywelyn the Great and his Castell Bere - and Mary Jones and her famous walk to get the welsh bible - not to mention Owain Glyndwr and the first welsh parliament.

A day full of welsh history and beautiful welsh scenery ........
