I can see a rainbow

I thought this would be the first tulip out in the front garden, but surprisingly another, a red one, has beaten this one at the finish line. These are tulip bulbs that came with the house and garden when we bought it. My own little tulip field in the back garden, which I planted as bulbs last autumn, is not anywhere near blooming yet, but that's also because they are waiting for more sunshine as they're in the shade most of the time.

We had a combined home-cooked Indonesian, Singaporean and Japanese buffet tonight with bright green pandan cake for dessert :-) See the extras.
