Canvass

I like this end terrace with its Labour placard affixed to the wall, even though we’re nowhere near a general election. Recently I saw the local Labour MP Daniel Zeichner door-knocking on a nearby street. At least I think it was him and a few aides, as it was hard to tell behind the masks.

It could have been bailiffs or hoodlums. It must be a good time to be a criminal, with everyone being encouraged to hide much of their faces behind masks. I wonder if prosecutions for theft are down because no one can be recognised on CCTV.
