Look who we met!

Julie and I met at Dipton Mill Inn today and did the whole walk I'd planned for myself last week. It was much colder today than I expected and there was a sharp breeze.

Down in the meadows more lambs had been born and others were gaining confidence. We met a few people walking, some of whom were happy to chat.

In Letah Wood (Woodland Trust) we saw our friend Caroline and her daughter Sarah. Sarah is usually a travel journalist, but she has been staying with her Mum while she can't travel. They are learning to spot birds and recognise bird song together.

There were no trail bikes today, but we did walk past the nursing home which has a trail bike track in the field next door!

Good to be out, good to be able to put the world to rights!
