Excitement
amongst the gulls. High tide was just after 7am and this was taken at 11:41 and the boats rest on the mud. The shellfish business is active, the smell pervades the air and the gulls want their tasty titbits. The shell fish are cleaned and flesh is separated from shell. The shells and any adherent bits are disgorged into the waiting lorry and a gull is perched on top of the chute which has a blue end and is situated to the right of the mast of the front boat Willy.
