The mountains will always be there...

We should have been going through the final preparations to leave to go skiing tomorrow... There were four families all heading to the same resort, so tonight we all toasted to future trips together. All though this Covid period I have been grateful for what we have not what we have lost or missed...but missing another ski trip (and I realise how privileged to even say that is) did cause me to feel a tiny bit melancholy. The mountains really are my happy place but like us aren't going anywhere anytime soon...
