Ammonite

I’ve given up ( temporarily) on my circles blanket as the putting together was dreary.. this project seems quicker to grow. It’s a Beachcombing Blanket, by Eleanora Tully ( Coastal Crochet) and made up of 9 squares, with ammonites, buoys, fishing nets, driftwood and sea glass represented. This one is the Ammonite one clearly and will be a 13”x13” square when finished .

Looking forward to seeing the film Ammonite with Kate Winslet and Saoirse Roman soon. I always enjoyed teaching about Mary Anning, ‘the fossil hunter’ , such a remarkable individual for her time.

After the wines and cheese last night, and the clock change I’m having a lazy day crocheting and catching up on podcasts.
