The Foehn Wind is Certainly Blowing!

After the bluer than blue skies of the last few days, the clattering of various objects blowing around the house woke me with a start this morning - the foehn, sometimes known as the "snow eater" had arrived. This warm wind has cleared the garden of snow and alternatively filled and emptied it of leaves today. The Tibetan prayer flags, already on their last legs, will be completely finished in the next couple of days. The ski schools must be panicking!
