Uncivil war

Civil wars are not very nice, and are definitely not civil. This one pitted the people in the form of the Parliamentarian forces against the aristocracy and the king. Parliament won mostly because the army it has was better trained, equipped and lead - professionals even then seem to do better than amateurs with posh accents...

This stamp is from 1992, while I was in University, it must have been sent from a friend of my parents to them, as I don't know anyone in Devon and I don't remember my parents ever visiting.

Work continues to be busy, good busy, but busy, hence I'm still back blipping and I've not caught up...!
