Cowslip

Today it has been quite cold windy, and spending time in the garden was not very inviting. However, I managed to capture a photo of the first cowslip flowers. This plant is in a border but the cowslips  have naturalised in our "lawn", which is reverting to chalk downland sward. Actually, I enjoy seeing what wild flowers and insects appear when we don't mow too often.
We went for a walk on our local (closed) golf course, relishing the opportunity before flying golf balls become  a hazard again.
