Operation Concrete continues

I missed some good photo ops this week whilst Team Concrete Prep prepared this area with drainage and kerbs. Now it’s just Kev and his favourite toy levelling out the crushed stone base.

Crushed stone is needed as a base because it provides a level base and proper drainage so that water doesn’t pool underneath the concrete, which can cause erosion, and to reduce the likelihood of the concrete cracking due to movement of the ground soil.
