North Third Reservoir
A walk up Lewis Hill and back via North Third reservoir is one we do frequently. On a previous visit a few weeks ago the water level had been lowered but today large expanses of the reservoir bed can be seen and indeed walked on. Work appears to be being carried out on the pipes and some of the stonework of the dam is being repaired. When the levels are normal ,only the trees on these islands are above water.
