Through a rainy window
This was the view out this morning at home. In Tennessee it’s moderately greener but no warmer. There were bad thunderstorms here yesterday that led to flash floods in Nashville and elsewhere, and I’m glad we decided not to drive yesterday. The road down the spine of Virginia was very pretty, with misty clouds lower than the tops of the big hills and ridges. Once we got far enough south there were redbud trees blooming along the roadside, floaty magenta lace among the other bare trees.
Good to be here. Said goodnight to Harry.
