Light At The End Of The Tunnel.

Maybe not.

After having no Covid in our area, for the last year.  And having only a very short lock down, at the beginning of it.

We have suddenly got 25 cases in the Brisbane area.  These are mostly from returning people.

Brisbane is 45kms from us.  But suddenly we are being told to wear masks.  I haven't worn a mask at all, this whole time.  In fact it's still in the packet in a drawer!!

Today I've been to 2 supermarkets, Bunnings, Target and Kmart.  Nobody was wearing a mask, apart from a few staff.

The school has asked parents to keep children at home, if they can.  And they've cancelled all the activities that were planned for the end of term.

And of course, the panic buying has begun.

All just in time for Easter, too.
