Cramond as per; pre breakfast.
After breakfast, She arrived, escaping the dregs who'd washed up at Her's last night in an attempt to avoid the law.
I rode out to meet her, decided it was a tad too breezy for SUP and then walked up for fresh bread and sticky apple buns from the local community food project.
Burgers all round for lunch; then She decided to head for home and sweep out the ashes of the previous night.
I took the lads off to watch the fitba. Edinburgh City v Stenhousemuir. Officially the game behind closed doors, but as there is one long side of the pitch with a hedge / mesh fence combo, so.... Actually there were loads of football fans (OK, maybe 30-40) dotted about. Some had scaled the bin store in the NW corner, complete with bass drum to lead the chants from the assembled throng below. (one up a step ladder to see over the cloth placed to try and prevent a sneaky view in; another swigging merrily from his red MD20-20, all of them chatting and chanting away. There were other pairs and solitary figures pushed through the blackthorn hedge and up close to the fence; a couple standing on a pile of pallets. We opted for a container, used by workies as a howf. A pallet was helpfully leaned up against the side acting as a step ladder so up we jumped (apart from Alex; he stood up on the 'ladder'. We were eventually joined by a couple of Spanish lads and the other bin store adjacent had another guy; and we chatted amongst ourselves. But it was a cold wind, and a dire 1st half. 1-0 to City; we decided that we'd done our duty and wandered home (City extended their lead in the 2nd half; 3-1 winners and a red car too, apparently) I sense a photo essay coming on, to be submitted to Nutmeg.
Home we went; curry was duly consumed and Tom decided on watching a Netflix movie on the recommendation of an Instagram story. Halfway through the film he / we lost interest and the discussion turned to marketing strategies and influencers.
