Plum

The first things we planted on the new allotment were fruit trees. Today the plum is flowering for the first time. Isn’t it lovely. There’s cold weather forecast for the end of the week so the fruit may not set. Fingers crossed.
Today we planted some rhubarb from our garden and we nipped to the garden centre and bought a red currant and a black currant so we got those planted too. We also planted lavender plants along the edge of the path. I’m very excited at the thought of what the summer promises.
