Fideua
Some friends went to Brindisa and bought PY some of the ingredients to make Fideua, which is a typical dish of the Valencia Region in Spain. It’s a seafood meal that looks very similar to Paella but has these tiny pasta noodles. And tonight was the night that it was made and, if this is not a strange contradiction, it filled the house with a gorgeously rich fish smell. I really don’t mean the kind of smell you get from frying a piece of fish; no this was rich - almost meaty - and yet of the sea. The whole thing was delicious and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
