the highs and lows

There was a very low tide this afternoon. Standing on the pier, looking down to the sea, the water looked incredibly shallow, but the Alfred still managed to depart as normal.

On the other side of the bay, and expecting a very high tide, the sandbags and flood barriers were out. (see extra)
