Tubes, Continued

Have not progressed far with my tubes. I quickly added these few colours this morning, so that I could show you something of where I am going with this project. It won't be flower-shaped when I'm done. Might not even stick with these colours - I had some alternate ideas pop into my head while doing this. We'll see.

This afternoon I went to see Cloud Atlas at the cinema, with friends from bookclub. I think it was designed to be meaningful. Several different storylines, loosely connected to one another, all sort of ended on the themes of love being a powerful force and the importance of Making A Difference in the world. I think. Don't quote me on that, I haven't read the book.

I enjoyed it, but... I felt like its meaningful messages were considered more important by the author/creators than the characters and their stories. Which is fine, it's just not my thing.
