Today is eldest daughter's birthday, so we nine all met up at the beach this evening and had drinks to celebrate followed by dinner on the beach!  A good day.  It was rather gray and cloudy, but warm, and it did not matter one bit as we were all together, but accounts for the quality of the photo.....these two are Leah and Casey, two of the granddaughters.  They live west of Chicago and are here on their spring break from school.  Leah is 16 and Casey is 10 and almost as tall as her sister!!!  And if they look a little sun-kissed, they are.  They swear they put on sunscreen the first day here, three or four times, but they're still a little pink!
