Next Day

Last Friday, five of these mysterious paving slab scrawlings/stencils appeared on the pavements around the outside of the Hammersmith Apollo (Odeon as was).

I imagine there were others elsewhere in London/UK/world, but I haven't see any pictures anywhere. The Hammy O is of course quite fitting because Bowie played here many times, perhaps most famously the Ziggy Stardust farewell concert in 1973.

The Next Day is Bowie's new album, due out on March 11th.

This is the most legible of the five now, they are all looking a bit weathered, but were fresher and brighter and more noticeable originally.
