Woolwich Ferry

Up to London today for a meeting about ICT and renewing old networks. Despite having retired I'm a "director" of an ICT Educationa Company with 2 other friends and colleagues from my time in Greenwich. So been networking with a former colleague to see how our two enterprises can work together. Very promising too.

After the meeting I went down to the side of the Thames and a view I saw often during my 11 years working in Greenwich. Just across the water is London City Airport and just before this shot a jet was landing immediately behind the flats. No time to get a good shot of that, but these ferries have been the backdrop of my life and I like their tough, no nonsene look.
