First of the Year
With England taking it's first tentitive steps out of lockdown, I acquired a ticket for my first National Trust visit of the year, The Vyne. Even the weather played its part after a cloudy start turning warm with clear blue skies.
As I enjoyed my walk round the estate (extras), clocking up over 12000 steps in 5miles, I was delighted to spot butterflies on the wing, in particular the bright greeny yellow brimstone. However, I resigned myself to watching as the chance of getting a shot was virtually nil. On the way out though, one deemed to pause for a feed on some dead nettles ... got it!
